2023

Wings For Hope Started 2023 with helping a super hero, a family who lost their home in a blink of an eye and single mom of two needing help with her kids clothes and summer needs. A total of $4000.00 donations given in the first part of 2023. We started with a BANG!

We ended the year with our Annual Toy Run riding through the beautiful North of NM giving prizes and laughing among our friends and supporters. We rocked the night with Sister Mary Mayhem giving away great prizes and enjoying the company of all around us. We had our shopping with the kids where we assisted 75 families in total we spent $9000.00. All toys collected were given to the children who shopped with us and all extra was given to the American Legion of Santa Fe Christmas for families in need.

2022

2022 was a busy year, raising money. We began raising money with some sunshine and music at the Santa Fe Brewing Co., with Peter Vigil and The All Star Band. Which included boxes of gently and new clothes, donated by Delancey Street Foundation we offered to families in need. We of course ended the year with our Annual Toy Run, riding through Penasco via High Rd. and after party at Fraternal Order of Eagles featuring Sierra. In total we assisted 95 Children with winter clothing total spent $8,282.58.

This was our first back to shopping with the kids and their families since covid restrictions and it was great to see the happy faces of those we helped.  As the kids left the store, they were able to receive a Christmas toy.

WFH did a special donation of $1,000 to the Montoya Family to help with their daughter’s illness and surgery.

2021

Wings for Hope started 2021 with a bang! With a spring bike run, down southern New Mexico and a 60/40 cash prize at the end of the beautiful scenic route. Had a little summer fun with a $20 grab bag yard sale with so many new or gently used clothes donated by Delancey Street Foundation. Of course, we ended the year with our annual Toy Run with the band Gypsy Grove. In total we assisted 120 children with winter clothing spending 9549.48. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, in early December, we held a drive up pick up for the kids to pick up their items plus a Christmas toy.

2020

Wings for hope sympathized with families and individuals who had experienced loss, suffering and disquiet during the uncertain time of 2020 and COVID-19. We continued to listen and plan for the needs of our community and all the children affected by the uncertain times. However, we were limited in quantity of our donations due to the restrictions of holding our annual fund raising events. Which also included our annual “shop with the kids”. We ended 2020 with a drive-up event where we handed out 100 Thanksgiving dinners for a family of 6 and a Christmas toy for the children.
